I’ll be running two short family foraging walks (around 45 minutes each), at the wildlife discovery area where we’ll look at a few edible and useful plants in a safe and fun way that encourages curiosity and awareness. The walks start at 11.45am and 1.45pm. Please book you space here.
I’ll also be doing a simple drop-in activity for kids — a “rainbow plant hunt” where you search for as many colours of the rainbow in nature as you can. It’s a fun, mindful way to slow down and notice more.
The event is part of a community day run by Friends of Woodlands & Coachwood Green, and there’ll be other nature-themed activities to get involved in too like a butterfly count and a bug hunt.
